Very heavy and size runs big

I was so hopeful that these would end my search for the perfect work shoes (I work in healthcare), but to be honest I was really disappointed in them (especially for the price!) They’re very heavy on the foot and run quite big (I followed the measuring advice on the website). I exchanged for a size smaller, but maybe I should have gone 2 sizes smaller? I kind of feel like I’m wearing boats when I wear them! On the plus side, the exchange process was pretty seamless.
