Garmin Catalyst Cage with Low-Profile Magnetic Mount (Screw Down)

The Garmin Catalyst Cage with Low-Profile Magnetic Mount was great, the installation was easy. This was something I got to ensure no issues during track sessions, Competition Motorsports was fantastic and I received the Garmin kit shortly after ordering.

I wanted to make sure the unit will not fall off the standard mount in the race car especially in the rough situation , the cage mount is a well thought and easy to mount and dismount , and big thanks to CMS'S customer service for responding and shipping

Secure, but not easy to remove from cage

I was under the impression that the Garmin would be easily removable from the base. However, this seems not to be the case after assembly. This looks to be better suited for a more permanent location while losing the ability to easily remove it quickly.
