I was nervous because of the negative reviews, eapecially anout the Velcro. So far so good! Theyre worn for all things sports and outdoors and are holding up well.

Great school shoes.
Bought for the start of school. I’d like my kids to wear minimalist/barefoot shoes as primary shoes for as long as possible. Decided to try Splay.
They look great. They seem to be solidly made.
My only complaint, as others have mentioned, is the Velcro strap is much too short. Basically useless.

Great shoes! Strap a bit short
My daughter loves these so far and they seem sturdy while also allowing lots of space and flexibility for her foot development. Giving 4/5 because unfortunately the Velcro strap is way too short. We sized up so she'd have room to grow and the fit in general is great, however, the strap barely reaches the Velcro on the other side so we're going to have to find an extender or something.
