I love everything I have ordered since I joined Rachel’s Texas Kitchen. I’ve tried everything (except some of jams, but I’ll probably get around to them all) and am a loyal repeat customer. I’ve had at least a dozen deliveries and everything was so well packaged that I’ve only had one jar mishap (which was replaced immediately, at no cost to me). Pickles! I love all the pickles. My favorites are the dill and the squash. The pickled beets are so good and just the right amount of sweetness. Pickled okra is another favorite, perfect with a sandwich for lunch. The canned peaches (regular and spiced) are wonderful (again, not too sweet). The corn relish is my go-to condiment on hot dogs, and chow-chow is a perfect topping to my black-eyed peas. The salsas are outstanding, with chips and in my breakfast burritos. Love all the items so much that I sent my daughter two big boxes full of jars as a Christmas present. Communication is always a must in every provider-customer relationship. I’ve found the e-mails are always informative and so cordial. The stories about the family and the business are wonderful.
