Tatung Electric Rice Cooker and Steamer (6-cup Stainless Steel), Red

It’s a beaut!

I was looking for a rice cooker with a metal cooking pot to replace our coated rice cooker that we’ve had for many years and kept seeing recommendations for this brand. What a beauty! I have never been so excited for an appliance. The color! The design! It’s a bit bigger than we need, but we are so excited. First batch of rice was not a disappointment.

An Excellent Addition to Our Kitchen

We've had our electric rice cooker + steamer for a short time, but it's already been a fantastic addition to our kitchen. It both cooks faster and results in less of a mess compared to our old nonstick induction rice cooker (the rice doesn't burn/stick to the bottom of the pan, either)! It also is fantastic for steaming homemade dumplings. It definitely seems built to last and I would highly recommend it as an investment to anyone who has relied on cheaper nonstick induction rice cookers in the past. It's well worth the price point.
