Great globe but . . .

I love the globe. It's going to be perfect for introducing my grandkids to the planet they live on (along with a fair amount of flat maps . . . ) However none of the website photos show what the illuminated globe looks like under normal room lighting. It definitely loses some pizzazz. A darker room is a plus.
