The Legacy - Shizouka Organic Matcha

I started with gourmets gold, and so glad I ventured out and purchased this one! It’s a little stronger than gourmets gold which is what I was looking for. I have daily lattes (oat milk + coconut water). No grassy after taste, it’s clean and fresh. A well and truly obsessed customer of green caffeine!

Just finished this matcha. I love it, best for usucha I think. Also good for latte, but not all milk are suitable with this matcha, as is more vegetal than nutty.

For an organic matcha the colour is quite vibrant! This is the best organic matcha i’ve tried so far and i think this would be a good starter matcha for those just getting into it. For the price it is awesome. Obviously doesn’t have the same nuanced flavours and notes as their more expensive blends but this Legacy matcha has umami and that signature grassy bitterness we all know and love.
