there's lids, and then there is Melin. Most caps' bills are flimsy and made of poor construction, and don't fit right. Sure, you pay $30-40 for one depending on what brand you purchase. Sure, if you have a ton of caps like me, it'll last a while. When you buy a Melin, you will undoubtedly wear the hell out of this hat. Its construction and quality is unmatched. Yes, they are pricey, but worth the cost if you want something that is going to last well into your lid wearing future. I now have two Melins' within a short period of time. Best lid I've ever worn
