Love, love, love this window insert! Having used the kits that come with the ac units which are a nightmare, the window insert from Martinson Manufacturing is a dream! If you use a portable ac unit, we highly recommend you get one of these window inserts. You will not regret it!

I bought a second Midea air conditioner for a second bedroom, so this is the second insert that I bought from Martinson (the first one was perfect). This window insert is faster and easier to install than the metal one that ships with Midea. Also, it looks far better. Midea's is metal with sliders. It leaves you with air gaps that you must fill with silicon or tape. Martison's fits perfectly.

The fit is perfect! Love that it is crystal clear (much to my cats confusion!) and lets daylight in. In my current apartment I am limited on where I can place the portable ac unit and the best place was the sliding glass door. I could never get something to work and fit. I am glad I found this and that it works so well. I just wish I didn’t wait this long!
