Must have for fast & light tours

Lightweight, durable and great for steep skiing, but felt a little short while trekking/skinning on moderate slopes (i.e. parts of Mt. Rainier in WA). I think the tradeoff for weight is worth it, because of its short length (still longer than the Gully though!) can fit easily in a pack, and love that it comes with all the pick/shaft/adze protectors and a sliding/adjustable pommel. Went with the adze as my other ice tool has a hammer

very happy with adze. Arrived with slight chip in paint, was promptly sent another.

Fantastic tools. Light but sure. Zero regret purchase.
