Started in planters under grow lights in a controlled environment
I would recommend this product as the Patty's Plum is a beautiful color! I originally purchased them and planted them in the same way and only one out of all of them came up. I did the same thing a second time and you can see the results, they even bloomed in the controlled environment. They don't like a lot of water so I used the clay water spout to give them water when they want-not on a schedule. I also did the same thing with the Helen Elizabeth and they are all ready to be transplanted into the garden. They are not hard to grow but they are finicky with water.
