Worth the money
II travel with a firearm quite a bit and this is one of those accessories you don’t know you need until you need it. It’s convenient, secure and gives you piece of mind when traveling with a firearm. I did have one airline question whether it was sufficient for air travel but it was resolved. I have the Atlas and the Hercules (need foam for the Hercules) use them often.

Fits the case it is made for, easy to cut to the right shape, holds things securely.

Foam Insert
This foam insert looks like it would be customizable, but there are no precut 1x1 blocks to pull out and shape around your gear. Instead, you’re stuck hacking into a dense slab of foam yourself. Not what I expected, and definitely not convenient. Save your money if you’re looking for true “pick and pluck” functionality.
