Not good germination for me

I think these must just be delicate, the roots are very small. I planted a set of five but none grew and Eden Brothers very graciously refunded them. I bought another set and was extra careful with them and only one of them is growing. It has not bloomed yet, so fingers crossed it is a color that I wanted.

Mixed feelings about these

I planted these roots earlier this year, and they all have been growing successfully at various rates. Now that two of them have bloomed I am disappointed to see that both of them are purple, which is a color I did not want and a color which is not shown in the sample photo for these phlox. That being said, they are pretty and I’m going to keep them, but they are still not what I wanted. Another one is about to bloom and looks like it’ll be pink. For reviewers here who said theirs didn’t come up at all I suspect that you buried the whole item underground instead of just the roots. The stringy part goes in the ground, and the fleshier part needs to stay above ground for these to grow.
