Vintage Z2 Mini TTL On-Camera Flash

Very nice small unit!

This will be a flash I keep in my small camera bag. First reason, it dosen't take much room. Secondly, it works good enough for close up fill flash situations. In manuel mode it is a push of a button to change the amount of light from the flash. In auto mode, it work just like the flash that is built into my Nikon Z2. But with the extended hight of this Vintage Z2-N flash, it didn't throw a shadow as quickly as the built in light. Although I don't use the fill flash lighting as much as I have in the past on professional shoots, this is a nice small, bail-me-out of a tough lighting situation! Thanks You, Viltox! Dale D.

The Little Flash with A Big Light!

Ok. I did it. I bought the Viltrox Z2-N flash. Not knowing what to expect my expectations were not very high, kinda leveled. Well, after receiving the Z2-N, I wondered if it had the stuff great things are made of. I found that it has the stuff. Light. Compact. Simple. Special. Unique. More bang for the buck. Two weeks in and I must say the Z2-N is a wonderfully mighty flash. Usable is many situations but not on the same level as the professional flashes. I found it very useful when indoors under less than perfect lighting conditions. The Z2-N is perfect for flash fill-ins and highlighting people and objects. No, it will not overpower the sun, but it has the stuff needed to not make your photos look ghostly. This is a wonderful item to have in your bag. Embrace the limitations and you will be a happy and productive photographer. I just wish it came with a pouch.

The flash is amazing. It's foldable. It is the right amount of flash for the intimate occasions and light photography. It's not for professional use but it is not meant to be for professional use. It's meant to be for personal use and that is where it excels
