Stealth Hitches

First of all my impression of the customer service when I called was wonderful. The instructions to assemble were very easy to understand. I installed the hitch myself, not taking their suggestion to get a helper. I suggest you do get a helper. The job will go much faster. It's a great hitch and everything about it is first class.

Elegant and subtle

The hitch is very strong and well built. The way in which it is concealed is ingenious. The process to attach the hitch portion to the latch mechanism is easy and smooth. Installation (we have a Volvo V90XC) requires removing the bumper and in my opinion should be left to professionals. Volvo techs noted that cutting will not void the warranty as long as it is done right (too much cutting will disable the back hatch foot-opening feature). Our installer (at KD Design specialty shop in Providence; did a great job!) was impressed by the thoroughness of the very detailed instructions. The installation took three hours. The Volvo hitch, by the way, will not carry two bikes over 30 pounds each, while the Stealth hitch can handle two 60-lb e-bikes with ease.

Purchased the hitch and accessories but had installed by a local installer who was listed on the Stealth Hitch site. Really happy with the hitch and the process to get installed.
