Men's V1 Jacket

This piece of gear is so well thought out. The zipper system. The arrangement of the pockets align so well with the movement and placement of a person’s hands and arms.

Coat is heavier than I expected and was kind of “stiff” out of the box. However after wearing it for a bit it seemed to soften and is very comfortable. I have been in some pretty hard rain and wind recently and it performed beautifully. I think it might get hot on really hot and humid days but I got it for fishing not backpacking. I am 5’11” and 215 lbs and got an XL. It’s a bit loose but will be good for layering which is important in north central PA.

I have to admit that I didn’t acknowledge that this was more of a “rain coat” and I was about to return the product. But as the description suggests, and as I wear this, I now realize this is really versatile and I love wearing this in various conditions. I wore this on top of a tee and went up to a 3300 m mountain and it was snowing - I didn’t feel chilly at all. I also wore this on 15 deg.C day and I felt comfortable. The only concern is the treatment. I’d appreciate it if the treatment instruction could be more elaborated in the website.
