Ben Irons GS “Spark” (RBI-GS)

I’ve been spending time with the new Ben Irons Signature Spark Mallet from Dragonfly Percussion, and I’m really impressed. The size, weight, and balance feel great in the hand—substantial enough for control, yet light enough to move effortlessly around the gong. What really sets the Spark apart is its dual-head design. Each side has its own distinct voice, giving you two beautiful strike options in one mallet. One offers a softer, warmer tone, while the other brings more presence and clarity. Comfortable, versatile, and beautifully crafted, the Spark has quickly become a mallet I’ll be reaching for often. Well done, Ben Irons and Dragonfly Percussion!
