These boots rock. Replaced my Fischer Transalps w/ these after a long struggle to get them to fit my feet. The Backlands are light-ish @ ~1350 grams each (on my scale) but don't sacrifice downhill performance. If you're looking for a touring focused boot that can still drive a ski, look no further.
