Nice concept, decent quality...
Personally, I love any kind of bag that can be worn multiple ways. This deep, dark color of purple is my favorite color, and I love the gold harware accents. I would have preferred to have the pink lining with the gold hardware, but that option was only for the silver hardware. So, for the price, there should have been more options for hardware and lining combinations. Also, when this arrived, a piece of fabric was cut outside of the zipper lining (see picture with the white arrow). It's small enough to dismiss, and I didn't feel like going through the return process to get a new bag, but it kind of makes me hesitant to order again. I also have the interchangeable backpack/crossbody that is discontinued; I bought it 2 years ago, and it went maybe 6 months before the seams began unraveling from one of the straps -- it's still usable, but for the price, I kind of expected way better quality. For this new purple crossbody, I keep everything in reusable food pouches, because I learned from my first purchase 2 years ago that the lining may not be as tough as I expect, either. I don't want it to get ruined or discolored. So, I went into this purchase knowing this bag probably won't be with me for many years like my Vera Bradley and Michael Kors bags. That being said, although I love this bag and everything the owner represents, $80+ may have been a little steep of a price. If the prices matched the quality a little better, I actually would buy more as gifts for my girlfriends and relatives. I likely will not order again from White Elm for another year or two, but I still love the concept of their bags and the various color options with each season.
