CUTE - Great for the Curvy

I am 5'6" and weigh 240. I purchased a XXL and it fits perfect. As far as my body type, I'm average to small on top, round in my mid-section and wider in the hips/thighs. This dress has just enough stretch so it is comfortable. Love the material, love the sleeves too. My arms are not cute so any coverage is good coverage for me. I would say that shapewear would smooth out the mid-section, but since it's an A-line, it's not necessary. The neckline also allows me to wear a normal bra, which is a bonus in my book. I want stylish comfort. This was purchased with the intent to wear as my Mother of the Groom dress. Either way, I'm keeping it because it's gorgeous.

The velvet hangs heavy, but not too heavy, kind of like wearing a weighted blanket, but without bogging you down. It's soft and smooth too, and flows well over your skin. If you're buying for anything you don't want to show cleavage at, however, you will want to wear a chemise or something underneath though. The neckline cuts deep and moves a lot. Best for taller women if you don't want to have it tailored.
