Not what I ordered, but fun to see what developed.

Ordered Blue Moon poppy seeds and started some via winter sowing in milk jugs on 1.27.24 in NJ. Had good germination and 6 plants moved to their final home. Each had a single flower this june. Two were like blue moon, but fringed, another was solid deep purple fringed, two were a smaller salmon red fringed and one was what I ordered. Nice seed heads on the three blue moon like plants, but I really wonder what the babies are going to look like. I really did the type of seeds I ordered (hence the low rating), but if life gives you lemons...... ps. It would make an interesting seed mix.
