Survived the yearly Oklahoma drought. Very pretty flower!

2nd year same seed as last year

18 month old seed and it has germinated fine, a high percentage. looking forward to strong bolero plants again. this year trying red, tangerine, and moonlight as well. in quantity. growing in 200 ct plug trays, using sungro sunshine mix #4 with 9-9-9 pre plant at each stage. plugs will go to 806's and then to garden. from plug to 806 is 5 weeks, from 806 to garden is another 3 weeks. these will bloom here thru november if i keep them that long. i should have at least 1000 of each of the 4 varieties this year.

red strong and long

these were fantastic. mostly red, but some solid orange in the mix as well, very very strong root system and strong habit of growth to 16 inches, covered in bloom all summer, still going mid october. high germination %, easy to grow. this will be one of 3 marigolds i will grow yearly. excellent.
