Perilla (Shiso) Seeds

Disappointed

I was really excited to grow my own perilla plant but the results have been disappointing. Nothing happened… the germination process was not successful after 3 attempts. It looks like I’m not the only one to share this experience.

Never germinated

Like the other reviewer, I used these seeds multiple times and nothing ever germinated. I had two packets, one cold stratified and the other straight out of the box: nothing from either. Every other basil-like plant came up just fine--but not these.

Did not germinate

Tried multiple methods with zero seeds germinating. Disappointing.
