Assumption Abbey Rum Fruitcake (2 lb. tin)

After years of making fruitcake, last year I received an Assumption Abbey Fruitcake. It is better than mine, and I ordered one for my family this year. This is a splendid cake.

Great Taste and Size

Has a wonderful taste, large fruit, and larger than expected. Only drawback is that it needed more rum to truly enhance the rum flavor. I added my own rum and let it soak in, turned into an excellent fruit cake. I would defiantly buy this cake again.

My boyfriend loves fruitcake and he usually buys himself a cheap one at the grocery store for his birthday which is on Christmas Day. This year I surprised him with an Assumption Abbey Rum Fruitcake.
