Amazing product - the install is easier than other reviewers made it seem

It would be very tricky to do without an extra set of hands - the part where you're hanging the reinforcement structure onto the hinges...you really just need a couple more hands to avoid frustration, but not because things are too heavy or anything. I'm super happy with the product but have a couple things that are noteworthy that keep this from being perfect. The tire does sit a little further away from the tailgate now, with the factory tire carrier bolted to the upgraded structure rather than the tailgate itself. That, coupled with the angle this swings, seems to make it to where I have to have the tailgate opened almost all the way up to open/close the window. It's possible their tire carrier they sell separately may be able to resolve that since it's adjustable, but if you don't buy that you could run into this super minor issue. Overall, love this upgrade and feel so much better about the added weight on the tailgate now.

38’s and no worries!

Went from a RC reinforcement to this with the adjustable carrier and couldn’t be happier. Well worth the investment for peace of mind. My wheels have a crazy-72 offset 14” wide and the adjustable carrier was able to almost get me to the bump stops. With the reinforcement the bump stops aren’t even a concern. Not a slight sound since Install. Install was simple for anyone mechanical should be easy. Outstanding packaging and product.
