Good quality but a lot narrower than other barefoot brands. (My kids who are perfectly capable of doing up their own shoes, needed help strapping them up because they were too tight). Of note, the girls’ patent Mary Jane shoes were a hit with my daughter and she says they are v comfortable.

I was a little unsure about ordering these shoes without my son being able to try them on first, but the foot measuring tool was super helpful and easy to use. My eight-year-old has always been extremely difficult to buy school shoes for. We’ve had fittings at big-name shops like Clarks and spent ages trying shoes on, only for him to reject them once he actually had to wear them. He has sensory sensitivities, so comfort is a really big issue for him, and he has often preferred very loose, trainer-like shoes instead. I cautiously ordered the Stirling shoes, and I’m so glad I did! We’re almost a week into the new school term and he hasn’t complained once. He says they’re comfortable and every time I ask how his shoes are, he says, “They’re good, they’re comfy.” For us, that is a huge win! I was also encouraged by the genuine-looking reviews from other parents, and our experience has been just as positive. I honestly don’t think we’ll be looking anywhere else for his future school shoes. My only wish is that you made them in bigger sizes, as my older son is already a size 5! Thank you so much - we’ll definitely be purchasing again.

Amazing shoes

I bought these shoes last October for my son after his first pair of shoes only lasted half a term…they are still in incredible condition (the following September)!! To the point that my husband accidentally put them on him yesterday thinking they were his new shoes! He is very active and plays sport/football in the playground every day! Only reason I got him new shoes is to size up…otherwise these are still going super strong! Have recommended to all of my mum friends!! I will only buy him Bgreater shoes from now!!
