I purchased the marking gauge/scriber for the pencil attachment aspect. It works well and it is a versatile gauging tool as well. Other marking gauges have been unsatisfactory for pencil lines. This gauge hits the mark. I am very pleased with it.

Well Made Shop Tool

This tool is easier to hold and replaces a previously purchased layout tool that gets infrequent use because it only did one thing. I like the feel of the new one and appreciate the review by KM before I purchased this one.
