Lord Sauron Approves!
There are no words in Elvish, Entish or the tongues of men to describe how majestic this display case is. Lord Sauron approves of the amazing attention to detail. At its price, one would expect a couple of Elves to be included to aid in the assembly. Alas, none came. Can the display case be assembled on your own? Yes. But you need to improvise a little. It is definitely easier to lay the rear panel flat and build up the other panels around it. Assemble the base first and then figure out a way to gingerly place the LEGO set (without something breaking off - Good Luck!) onto the base. Refer to the online manual for the display case as the printed assembly manual is in black and white yet it instructs one to place the LEGO set on the studs marked in red. Sauron the Deceiver is at work here. If you’re placing the display case on a table, the challenge comes when lifting the assembled acrylic box and lowering it onto the base, without taking out the Eye Of Sauron or the figurines at the front. Definitely put on a pair of gloves when assembling the case. Fingerprint smudges can be really annoying. This is not a difficult display case to assemble. Like Treebeard said - Don’t be hasty. No point rushing its assembly. Set aside plenty of time to do it and you’ll be fine. In the words of Lady Galadriel - This task was appointed to you. And if you do not find a way, no one will. The baseplate vinyl and the backdrop vinyl really takes you back to Mordor and thank Saruman that it already came applied to the rear panel. (The Batwing case with the Gotham nightsky backdrop did not come with the vinyl applied.) Do bear in mind that the vinyl will block out the view from the rear of the display case into the back of the tower. In case sticky adhesive from the tape that they use to stick the panels together gets onto the acrylic panels, WD-40 will remove the adhesive instantly. After which, wipe clean with WEPOS Acrylic Cleaner. Also, is it possible to include Philips head screws to assemble the panels instead of the flat head ones? One needs the dexterity of Legolas to work with those fiddly screws. As it is, this LEGO set is already impressive. What this display case does is it simply takes everything else to a whole new level. Definitely worth its weight in dwarves’ gold. *The light kit is from Brickbling.

Without words
I have ordered three big display cases even it was my first order. And to be honest it was kind of a gamble for me to spend big without knowing about the product but... it was just waste of time!! Quality is super amazing and this limited edition is something outstanding. Lego set already has a great atmosphere but with this case your room just becomes Mordor! The shipment has taken quite long time and I wasn't really sure if the next order will come in my mind before I got them but now, eventually I'm considering to order more of them! Well done and brilliant work Wicked Brick!

Sauron Sees All
This case is huge. Feels like you actually are in Mordor. I'm not totally certain it is worth the extra width of the Limited Edition without the Fell Beast. Wish that had been available. Since neither is available now the standard version is worth it. Not the clear background. Whatever you get it will be a great case.
