I haven't applied them to my Loubis yet, but judging them from the packaging they're not soft, they're not "gummi" either, I'm certain they have to be stiff and not as flexible to withstand different surfaces and ones weight but the name can be deceiving. The reviews brought me here so of course I'll try them, I purchased them to find out. But overall I believe they are to prevent the scraping off of the red on the bottoms of the shoes; it says it's necessary to file down the shiny on the bottoms before adhering the gummi.

Normally I wouldn’t write a review this quick. I haven’t even gone to an event yet but I can tell after adding these to my stray red bottoms that were super slippery, I can already feel the difference that slight elevation and the grip, I’m gonna be able to wear these all night.
