Soaked them in boiling water for 10 minites and used the TFL tire levers to help adjust them after stretching them over the rim with my hands. Had them on in a few minutes. Easy peasy for a little extra protection.

Hard to install, but well worth it

After noticing multiple significant impacts to my stock GTS hub I decided I needed to get some protection before I shattered my wheel. I struggled for a while to install them until I submerged them in almost boiling water for 10 minutes and used a small tire iron I use on motorcycle tires. All said and done I’d say the piece of mind knowing my wheel isn’t going to be shattered on a trail far from home or my ride home was well worth the effort. I’m running the future motion performance treaded tire with no issues other then the bead being a little tricky to set.

Great protection, but not easy

These look like they will give great protection. Jeff made installation look easy, but I had to boil them to get them on. The description notes that they are not compatible with maghandle. I went ahead and reinstalled my maghandle on my Pint X with a thin shim on the stop, and it fit fine for me with no rubbing. I did have to install the maghandle after fitting the fender delete over the tire, which required an extra long torx.
