I had a copy of this book several years ago. Someone borrowed it and I didn't, get it back. I was so pleased to see it was available sgain.
It is a fantastic real life story of a young man's struggles to achieve his ambition and how it affected his life.
Very well written and hard to put down.
I particularly liked the Foreword which was longer than the previous one and complemented it beautifully.
Having read it again I have given it to an ex RAF friend.

Arrived quickly.
Had a copy when it first came out. Loaned it to someone and didn't get it back.
I was so pleased to see it was still available.
Excellent story. So well written you feel you are in it part of the action.
So hard to put it down.
I read in bed and often fall asleep with it on my knee.
The foreword was excellent too. So nice to see what happened to Geoff.
I don't think this was in the earlier edition.
Looking forward to reaching the end of the story.
I am giving it to an ex RAF friend.
