SPRINGERLE (Anise) COOKIES

These springerle cookies are almost identical to my Great Grandmother's. I order them for shipping during the holidays and everyone raves about them. I ordered a dozen just the other day for myself....its almost June. The best!

Took me back to my childhood when my mother used to make a Christmas time. It was a German tradition.
