A proper brew - pure and simple. Taylors of Harrogate pays fair prices for really good tea from farms in Africa and India, to make a lovely blend that's big on flavor, seriously refreshing and kind to the people who grow it.

Yorkshire Tea’s granular loose leaf is a slight cut above the tea bag version. Puchased from US distributor Brands of Britain it is good for a year before the used by date, YT loose leaf is a satisfactory cup of tea when 1 tsp is brewed with purified water for 3-4 minutes in a Finum brew basket. YT’s malty taste resembles English or Scottish Breakfast. While YT is consistent in strength and body with a India, Sri Lanka and Aftican blend, I lean towards the nuanced flavor of Yorkshire Gold, due to its unique blend of Assam (richness), Kenya (vibrancy) and Rwanda (golden glow). Lately unable to find YT or YG in local stores. Within the last year, Wegmans no longer stocks YG loose leaf 8.8g in their International section. YT 2.2 lb is alot of tea. For convenience, I keep a 250g portion in a metal tin with a tightly sealed lid. Years ago, YG 8.8g loose leaf was sold in a round paperboard container with a resealable gold-colored plastic lid.

Ice tea
This is our go to for black unsweetened ice tea. A quart mason jar. A table spoon of tea. Water. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Then strain and enjoy. Use to do 8 hours but the wife all of a sudden liked it stronger. So, there you go
