Emerger Fluoro Tippet

I’ve fished the Montana Casting Company Emerger Fluoro Tippet over several sessions on technical tailwaters like the Lower Mountain Fork, and it has really impressed me. Where it stands out is in dry-dropper rigs with small emergers (18–22). It sinks just enough to keep the dropper in the film while still allowing a natural drift, which has led to better takes from selective fish in clear water. It’s not an all-purpose tippet, but for emergers and technical presentations, it does exactly what it’s designed to do—and does it well.
