Very comfortable, however they are pretty thick. If you not carrying a heavy load inwould go with a light, thinner option. But if you are carrying a heavy load definitely give these a shot

I don’t use them for a plate carrier, I purchased my pair for a shoulder bag that had a strap that would cut on my knock for extended use. I put this strap on it, so much more comfortable. I imagine it would work well on an actual rig or carrier. Thanks guys
