Some hairs fell out during the first few uses but now I don't notice any coming loose. Holds dishwashing liquid well and washes gently but thoroughly (e.g., around built-in Snapware gaskets). I bought the tampico fiber head as well and am using it without a handle, as a vegetable brush. Elevates the dishwashing experience!
