Gel Stain & Top Coat 946ml

I have never used this product before and found it had a learning curve. I had better success once I thin the product with a little mineral spirits. Ultimately quite happy with how my table top turned out!

i have the espresso gel paint and the color is beautiful, a little dark, I wish you'd come out with a slightly lighter brown. It hid scratches and imperfections beautifully. I had two problems. the first is an inconsistent sheen. I applied it with a brush, but as i switched to another can, the finish changed. It may be how i applied it, but i tried to be so consistent with my coverage. (I used 4 cans) But the finish is blotchy, shiny in some spots, dull in others, although the color is consistent. I'm going to lightly sand the full floor and apply a semi-gloss oil based poly and see if that corrects the issue. The flat finish also attracts dust and looked "dirty" all the time, so hoping this helps the floor attract less dust, or at least look less dusty.
