Juniper Rose pH Balancing Deodorant

Seriously the best deodorant I have ever used

I have tried every new natural deodorant I could find and was not impressed with any of them. Either they didn’t last long or left a residue on my clothes no matter how carefully I put them on. I discovered Honestly pHresh on a site I frequently ordered natural products and once I tried it, I knew my search was over! I am now ordering it directly from Honestly pHresh and it is definitely worth buying a few at a time. I use this deodorant after taking a shower and it lasts until the next shower (24 hours) with average physical activity. It leaves absolutely no residue or streaks on my clothes. Juniper Rose is my favorite scent profile because I love anything rose and it goes well with my perfume and hair products but I have also tried the Lavender Milk and it also smells great. Also, I love the packaging of this deodorant. Not only is it a pretty design but it uses less plastic while actually being functional to use. It is twistable and not one of those awkward push-up paper tubes that will push the deodorant right back down in a crumbling mess if you don’t hold it up perfectly and apply almost no pressure when using it. Thank you Honestly pHresh for finding a good alternative to those, and for making a deodorant so perfect I don’t even need to try anything else!

Nice scent, smooth texture

I bought 3 deodorants-- this style, and 2 stick deodorants. The scent (juniper rose) is nice. It is not too floral and it is not an especially gendered scent. You pick up on the rose but it mellows quickly into a spicier woody smell. It's herbaceous and organic smelling (like plants, not like fragrances). It is greasier than the stick style, more like a balm. I don't shave and I have made my own deodorant for 15 years with a coconut oil base. It's similar to that texture; it coats the hairs and rubs into the skin more than sitting on top. It doesn't leave a residue on my clothes, but I don't wear light colored fabrics. It's 94 degrees here today. It's holding up just fine! I am not stinky or sweaty. It's easier to wash out of my armpits than the stick style, which has wax in it (great for staying power but can be weird if you have certain sensory issues). So if you like to wash clean each shower, try this style. I recommend it if you are used to non traditional deodorants! If you expect the texture of Dove or similar, you may not like it.

Love the deodorant, hate the sneaky plastic

The scent of this is lovely, and after a week of use it seems to be working, even on sweaty work days. The scent is pretty feminine which isn't what I'm looking for every day - I like it, it's just not what I want to smell like. I also got the Lavender Milk scent which is a much lighter scent - I like it too but between the two I'd chose the Juniper Rose. I gave that one to my wife who found them effective and really liked the scents. What I am really sad about is I thought I had found a plastic free twist up prebiotic deodorant, but the cardboard packaging is only on the outside. The deodorant itself is still in a plastic tube inside the cardboard. So I will probably not purchase again, but not because I don't like the deodorant.
