This box produces the most delightful sounds from almost any material. Very musical and inspiring. What I learned: if you run it on batteries and it starts to sound harsh and scratchy it is time to change the battery.

Inspiring and Quite Epically Odd!

I managed to get a Weaver from the last batch via Soundgas and have been having a blast with it. Feeding it shortwave stations and then dialing into the alien/space-dub radio stations it spits out is such fun.. Linking it to my Music Thing Modular Workshop System (with a Goldfish program card) and bouncing the results back and forth is Quite Epically Odd. It's an inspiring little audio capture device in a visually intriguing and high quality package that suits it's output perfectly. Cool graphics, impeccable enclosure and the Erica Synth style knob is spot on... and that flickering colour changing light is ace. Thanks Soundgas and Fieldtone :-)

Astonishing thing

The Fieldtone Weaver is just delightful. It has a life of its own, and I can waste hours just listening to the weird things it does. Within hours, it has proven itself to be one of the best pieces of music gear I have ever bought.
