The answer

Didn’t know what I needed for a mixed bag of weather on a big upcoming ride which included temps ranging from -1C to 12C, sun, sleet, and snow until I talked to the experts using the chat function on the website who suggested the S2S jersey which ended up being the perfect piece of kit. Had it on for 90% of the ride. Couldn’t be more impressed with the customer service at 7mesh.

Close to perfect

It has immediately become my go-to for most rides. Cut, material, water resistance, storage all ideal for 5-10C, showery, breezy weather. Which is to say 9 months of the year in Scotland. Bottom zip could be a bit more secure.

Great

Works really well in variable fall weather. Light rain, spray and cold winds it handles with no issue. Good zipper. Premium feel. Perfect with wind protection in front and breathability under arms and in the back. Still the jacket/jersey breathes very well. Fit is just slightly tighter than I'm used from 7mesh, but I think it's since the fabric is a bit less stretchy than an ordinary jersey. XL still fits me well. XL, 183cm/90kg.
