Boxer briefs size small

Size wise the small fitted well for 32 inch waist despite me being at the lowest end of XS for hip and waist. It’s possible the XS might have been better but also could be too tight? I bought them for a light (50 to 100km per day) 7 day road trip in hot weather with my daughter with the goal to look more casual. Comfort wise they are good but not in the same category as their bibs. I did have some soreness. Ease of use: I was able to wash them every night and they were dry to dryish the next morning which was perfect. Overall recommend.

Good underwear for touring

I normally tour (~60 mile days) wearing just regular shorts over merino wool boxer briefs, but after 3-4 days I would need a rest day, or a day wearing bib shorts. These briefs now fill that spot for me, saving me from having to carry (and wait to air dry) full on bib shorts. These shorts take up almost no room, and air dry in a couple of hours, ready for the next day. I’m ordering a second pair now!

The boxer briefs don’t feel bulky at all if your saddle height and crank length is right with a good saddle you don’t need more padding, I actually forget I’m wearing padded shorts they’re so minimal.
