Heel stack.
Good boots have kept my feet warm at -24°. Well constructed with quality materials and craftsmanship. Only I would change and I may send them back this summer when weather warms up is they could use a higher heel stack. The front of the sole feels considerably higher when walking on a hard floor. I don’t notice it as much outside in dirt or snow.
