This Fatip Classic Grande Double-Edge Safety Razor - Nickel / Open is not automatically an easy shave and one needs to prepare: the short handle , the fit of the design , the angle of the contact. This is an excellent if not exceptional razor, it does not miss a beat. A short handle was new to me, I bought a travel razor to learn the feel. This handle is very much the best for the design, the shaving head. The razor has beautiful balance. When shaving, if not familiar with open comb razor angle, I found the razor to feel “quick “ and very good with tight spaces. My enjoyment has a grounding in feeling of proficiency with this fine instrument. NOTE: I am left handed and still prefer “forgiving “ blades, like Derby and rub the shave cream onto my beard.

Very efficient shave. Clean shave with minimal passes. Cleans easily and looks nice.

This razor is outstanding! Just enough heft but very well balanced and excellent workmanship! I love the open comb design for a close shave.
