Pooped out

Our podiatrist suggested this item for preventing ingrown toe nails. They were great the first 3 or 4 times we used them. Now they are so dull they won't cut thin fingernails, much less thick toenails. In quality, they are very similar to the $15 clippers at Walmart. Considering the description of these nippers on the website, I was surprised they wore out so quickly. It is difficult to know if I should purchase something more expensive from this company or try someone else.
