Great Saddle

The feathers were nice and soft and the few flies I tied with them looked great…unfortunately my dog eat the skin the day after I got it 😂😢

I know it’s tough to get good hen saddles. Most of the brown saddle I received were black. Could only make about 4 streamers that were brown.

Surprised by the Saddle

Bought this saddle since the color wasn’t available and out of stock from Whiting. Purchased this one instead. So far so good. Been tying a host of different flies from Swinging Ds to Strong Arm Merkins, and the quality of the hen feathers is excellent. Would recommend if Whiting is unavailable
