I used to tie flies professionally for 26 years. I am finally able to get back into fly fishing and tying for myself. I always used danville's pre-waxed thread for to me it is the best! It served for 1500 flies per season all that time and never a complaint from a customer for a fly falling apart. This thread has very little build-up, takes dubbing well, and holds its color. Great "STUFF"

Great all around thread. Nice color selection. Strong and thin enough for most applications. Use it for most tying sizes #10 to #18.
