Hemp Fiber Nesting Pads

The last pad in the box was like half the size of the rest of them, which was a little disappointing. Also the fibers stick to the eggs, which isnt the end of the world since you wash the eggs anyway but we sell them unwashed so we have to rub it off best we can. Pros is definitely keeps our eggs from breaking and cleaner overall.

So perfect for our girls! I love the all natural component, and they fit perfectly in the nesting boxes, and our chickens are an happy and comfortable on them. Not as messy as other nesting pads, and don’t aggravate my allergies, which is a huge win. I’ve subscribed to these to make sure we never run out!

Nesting pads

So far our chickens love them. Unfortunately, I put them in the nesting boxes and my chickens took them out and shredded them. I realized i needed to put wood on the nesting boxes to create a rim. Now they have been leaving them in the boxes. Lesson learned. They now are leaving them in the boxes. They are still shredded but I didn’t want to waste them
