I was just using Q-tips previous to getting this kit. I was a little anxious about getting an actual tool because I heard that they can be dangerous. However, as long as you don't dig too hard, heh, they're super useful! The best tool IMO is the silicone poker thing - I found the right places to push on and it pops the gross blobs out! Then you can use one of the scoops to help remove them from your mouth.
