This is a durable product and is very water proof. The zippers are heavy duty and are water proofed well. As a standalone hip pack it works great and as described. It should noted noted I tried to use this with a Kelty Back Pack with an external frame to which it is not compatible. It may work with well with a small day back pack. But a large pack with a waste strap and hip padding it will not work.

Transport 4L hip pack

Great hip pack! All the pockets you could ever need. I bought it for the water bottle holder. Use it on hikes with my dog, easily holds all my edc essentials, water, dog bowl, raincoat, and works great as a hip pack or sling.
