Nostos, a return to pleasure
These words come to mind when I think about my experience with this fragrance: Elegance, Sophistication, Seduction, and Bliss. Projection is moderate at a distance but intense in close proximity to the body. Nostos’s longevity is eternal, long lasting. Etat Libre d’Orange pays tribute to Achilles in their description of this fragrance, but it is more about the energy between Achilles and Patroclus and the balance created when these personalities are combined. Nostos, meaning the return, is more of a return to an age of playful passion than an impossible homecoming. It is a sweet masculinity, rich and hypnotic.
